Kelli Garber, MSN, APRN, PPCNP-BC, is the Lead Advanced Practice Provider and Clinical Integration Specialist for the Medical University of South Carolina Center for Telehealth, which is designated as one of only two National Centers of Telehealth Excellence. In addition to providing oversight for the clinical operations of the MUSC School-Based Health Program, Ms. Garber is responsible for providing patient care via telehealth to children across the state of South Carolina who are enrolled in the program.
Ms. Garber works closely with healthcare providers throughout the state of South Carolina and the nation, providing telehealth education and consultative services as they implement telemedicine in their respective disciplines. Ms. Garber is a published author and an accomplished presenter at the local, state and national level on the topics of telehealth; telehealth and APRN practice; and school-based telehealth.
She is currently the Co-Chair of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Health Policy Committee and represents NAPNAP as the Liaison to the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Telehealth Care. In addition, Ms. Garber was recently appointed to the South Carolina Board of Nursing by Governor McMaster.
Ms. Garber, a Board Certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience, received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the Johns Hopkins University and her Master of Science Degree in advanced practice pediatric nursing at the University of Maryland. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Old Dominion University
